What I really love about the Ardent design was how clean, fresh and simple it felt. The client had a clear vision of what was desired and the re-design process was a snap! To clarify, this logo is a re-design of an older logo. I wanted to give the client a choice between a 3-dimensional logo that looks as though the viewer could reach out and touch it, and a flat 2-d design that would work better for letterhead, stamping, etc. I changed the colors but stayed in the blue color spectrum. I changed the curves and feel of the flame to something that seemed more random or natural. The result is a very trustworthy, classy logo that draws the viewer into the now with natural gas.
